The maximum bonus Ether a character can get from gems is 150, for example. The only way to properly nerf it though, in my opinion, would be to have it give 1 EXP to each party member every few interactions instead of one (which would result in more interactions needed instead of being based on chance), but even then I don't know how would other people react to that.Īnd if you want to click users with a lot of Pokemon without the EXP Share giving enough EXP after clicking each one of them, then you can always give the EXP Share to a Pokemon or get rid of it to stop its effect :P Simple as that unless you still want to have a boost of some sort.Īll in all, in its current form at least, no support. Each gem effect has a cap, but putting duplicate gems on a character will stack up until that cap. Bringing this back would probably only make a lot of people angry because a minority wanted more effort, while having your eggs hatch using the EXP Share still takes quite a bit of effort (not everyone can click over 10k times every day and hatch at least one party that way). Also, the 2 EXP to a random party member was changed to what it is now because, if I'm not mistaken, a large portion of the community hated having eggs with uneven EXP (which includes me) and frustrated those who had one egg with only a few EXP left not gain points because the other party members absorbed it, and as it was essentially based on chance (1 in 6 chance if a full party), some people could end up clicking thousands of Pokemon without the egg gaining the last of its EXP if they happened to be extremely unlucky.
